Saxon Math is Not for Everyone

by Joyce Wheeler
(Louisiana)

Visitor Saxon Math Review: We used this years ago so I don't remember which level we used.

My daughter was struggling with math and we had tried a variety of programs. I knew she needed to consistently work on concepts previously learned in order to maintain them. After visiting a message board asking for advice I decided to try the ever popular Saxon.

Saxon did have the repetition that my daughter needed. However, she could not handle not having enough time or practice problems for new concepts. She became quickly overwhelmed and we dropped Saxon.
