Seven Star Academy Online Homeschool Review

by Rona Branson
(Franklin, TN)

This is an online school much like the K-12 program. My son did their 10th grade English course last year. I found it to be a wonderful experience. The teacher was great! Very encouraging, always available when needed, quick to give him feedback and grades and/or hold him accountable if he did not get things in at the agreed upon time.

The curriculum was rigorous and challenging but not overly so. The best part about it though was that a Biblical worldview was woven into the curriculum. The literature discussions and assignments often tied back to scripture and/or a Biblical principle. He was forced to think through moral issues and personal issues. He was challenged to consider his purpose in life and even tie that to future decisions.

It was worth the cost. You can sign up for one course or do all the courses for a year of middle school or high school.

It is accredited through SACS and the credits will transfer if needed.
