Sonlight Curriuculm Experience

I used Sonlight Core 1, 2 and Core 3/4. The program worked great until my younger child entered grade 2 and then I had to stop the core with him.

Sonlight was not working out with the age gap at that point for my two boys. Also the Language Arts was lacking for my youngest and by grade three he was not doing too well in learning English composition.

One great point I would like to mention is that Sonlight helped me to teach my youngest boy to read with confidence. It was the only curriculum that was the proper fit for teaching the phonics.

My oldest loved Core 5 and it worked well for him. However, this year I did not order Sonlight.

I preferred to use a program that was more customized and moved on to another supplier.
