Teaching Textbooks Math

by Kandi Roeske
(Oklahoma, USA)

Visitor Review: Teaching Textbooks has been wonderful! Like so many of us, i search out and change curriculum every so often in search of the best. My searching is over for math!

Now my (older 3) children do math first with out me even asking. They excitedly will recount silly word problems or fun facts they have learned.

In the lower grades you can purchase the book and/or dvd's. The dvd's explain and grade the work so you don't really need the book unless you want it.

In the upper grades, the dvd's are for explanation only, but the book describes and teaches so well, we have not needed the dvd's.

My days of stressful math class are over. I would say Teaching Textbooks is definitely one of 2 top picks for math, Math U See being tied, but we have only used it in the lower grades. Singapore a third.
